Mrs. Buss' 1st Grade Classroom

A little bit about me…

     I grew up in Millard, Nebraska, the oldest of three daughters who all graduated from UNK as teachers! (Actually I graduated from Kearney State College!  ;) )  Throughout the past 30 years I have taught in Holdrege, Funk, Lincoln, and Kearney….all grades ranging from preschool to 4th grade. I am married and we have two grown children.  My daughter Britani is a teacher in Holdrege, Nebraska, and my son Jalen is a PE teacher in Franklin, Nebraska.  I also have two adorable granddaughters named Haizel and Eloise. :)   I can’t forget our little Morkie, named LuLu, and our sweet little Maltipoo named Leo. 

I have always had a passion for teaching!  Every year I begin teaching feels like my first!!  I look forward to an awesome school year with an amazing class!!  Please call me if you have any questions or concerns.
